Porridge Radio sobre Cómo una Colina, una Boda, Led Zeppelin y Más Inspiraron su Nuevo Álbum.

The misty mornings, the flooding river, and the unseen gnomes all became symbols of the emotional journey I was going through while writing the album. They represented the liminal spaces I was inhabiting, the uncertainty and confusion I was feeling, and the magic and mystery that helped me cope with my heartbreak, depression, and burnout. They were like threads woven throughout the album, connecting the songs and guiding me through the process of creating it. In a way, they were my muses, inspiring me to explore the depths of my emotions and find ways to express them through music. It was a strange contrast, but I think it added something to the recording process. It made me appreciate the time in the studio even more, and it gave me a different perspective on the music we were creating. It made me realize that life is full of these moments – moments of celebration, moments of loss – and they all shape who we are and the art we create. So, even though it was frustrating to leave the studio, I think it ultimately enriched the music in some way. It reminded me that music is not just about the notes and the sounds, but about the emotions and experiences that go into creating it. And that’s something that I think comes through in the songs on this album.” I just follow my instincts and see where it takes me. But I think that feeling of comfort or relief you mention is definitely something that I aim for in my music, even if it’s not a conscious goal. I want my music to be a place where people can escape to, where they can find solace or a sense of connection. So if that comes across in the album, then I’m really happy about that. It’s nice to know that the music can provide some sort of emotional refuge for people.
