A 19-year-old social media content creator tragically died by suicide live on Instagram at her home in Chhattisgarh’s Janjgir Champa district. The incident was discovered on Thursday when at least 21 of Ankur Nath’s followers witnessed her hanging herself. Despite the efforts of concerned neighbors, they were unable to save her as her home was locked from the inside. A follower shared that he felt powerless as he only knew her through her account and had no personal relationship. Another follower attempted to call her phone but was unsuccessful. According to police, it appears that she took her own life due to a heartbreak in love. Her parents mentioned that she was addicted to her phone and regularly posted content to garner attention. Ankur resided with her elder sister in Nawagarh, located 150 km from Raipur, while her parents lived in Hyderabad.
