“We have been through tough times before, and we have always come out stronger on the other side,” Hrabowski said. “We must keep pushing forward, keep fighting for what is right, and keep believing in the power of education to change lives and change the world.”
As attendees filed out of the Kennedy Center, many nodded in agreement, inspired by Hrabowski’s words and ready to continue the fight for higher education in the face of political turmoil.
Despite the challenges ahead, the leaders in higher education remain committed to their mission of providing access to education, promoting diversity and inclusion, and advancing research and innovation. And with a renewed sense of purpose and unity, they are prepared to face whatever comes their way.
