“Enfoque en el artista: LEYA – Nuestra Cultura”

MD: Yeah, I think it’s definitely guided by instinct, but we also have a lot of conversations about what we want things to sound like, what we want them to feel like. We have a lot of ideas about what we want to accomplish with each piece, and we work together to figure out how to get there. It’s a lot of trial and error, but we trust each other’s instincts and ideas, which makes the process really collaborative and rewarding.

AM: We’re always trying to find new ways to use our instruments, to push the boundaries of what people expect from a harp and a violin. We want to create something that feels fresh and unexpected, but also accessible and relatable. We want people to connect with our music on an emotional level, even if they don’t fully understand all the technical aspects of what we’re doing.

MD: Ultimately, we just want to make music that moves people, that makes them feel something. And I think that’s what drives us to keep experimenting, to keep pushing ourselves to create something new and exciting.

AM: Yeah, exactly. We’re always looking for new ways to challenge ourselves and our listeners, to push the boundaries of what is possible with our instruments and our voices. We want to keep evolving and growing as artists, and I think that’s what makes our collaboration so special.

MD: Definitely. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and I’m excited to see where it takes us next.

AM: Me too. The possibilities are endless, and I can’t wait to see what we come up with next.

MD: Same here. It’s going to be amazing.

MD: Yeah, and I think part of the reason we titled it that is because we were at a point where we were feeling a bit stuck in our creative process. We were going through a lot of personal changes and challenges, and we needed to let go of everything that was holding us back. So in a way, it was a way for us to start fresh, to clear our minds and approach our music with a new perspective.

AM: Yeah, it was definitely a cathartic process for us. And I think in a way, the title reflects that sense of release and renewal that we experienced while making this record. It was a way for us to forget everything that was weighing us down and just focus on creating something honest and true to ourselves.

MD: So in a sense, the title is a reflection of the journey we went through while making this record – letting go of the past, embracing the present, and looking towards the future with a sense of clarity and purpose.

MD: I think her sense of intuition is really inspiring to me. She has this ability to tap into a feeling or emotion and express it through music in a way that is so raw and authentic. It’s like she can channel something deeper than words or thoughts, and it always amazes me. It pushes me to dig deeper into my own emotions and instincts when creating music with her. Her intuition guides us in a way that feels almost magical at times, and it’s truly inspiring to witness and be a part of.

AM: Thank you. I think we complement each other well in that way. We both bring something unique to the table, and it’s in the collaboration that our music truly comes to life.
