‘Reparando el núcleo’: El Secretario de Educación de los Estados Unidos, Miguel Cardona, promete promover la equidad.

We’re working with superintendents, with the business community, with community colleges to ensure that students have multiple pathways to success. We’ve been very aggressive in our approach to make sure that the funding that we have is going to the right places, to those schools that need it most.

We are also very focused on mental health. We have over $100 million for Project Aware, which is going to provide mental health services to students. We know that the mental health crisis is real, and it’s not just adults that are experiencing it, it’s our students as well.

We’ve also been very aggressive in our approach to digital equity. We know that the digital divide is real, and it’s not just about having access to devices, but having access to high-speed internet. We’ve been very focused on closing that gap and making sure that all students have access to the tools they need to be successful.

Overall, we are committed to ensuring that every student in this country has access to a high-quality education, regardless of their background or zip code. We are working tirelessly to address the challenges that our education system faces, and we will continue to fight for the promise and opportunities that are available to all students in this country. Thank you.

Let’s keep doing what works and continue to prioritize the well-being and success of all students.

Y tenemos un plan de esas áreas prioritarias que funcionan, y vemos datos de nuestros distritos que muestran que, cuando se utilizan bien, sí funciona. Simplemente no podemos detenernos ahora.
