The Friends of the Patient Charity Hospital has reported nine cases of premature infants facing severe health issues due to the cold weather, with five of them sadly losing their lives. Medical professionals have been working tirelessly to treat these infants, but the lack of resources and late arrivals have hindered their efforts.
The dire situation in Gaza has been exacerbated by the destruction caused by the conflict between Israel and Hamas, leaving many displaced Palestinians without proper shelter or warmth.
Local journalists have highlighted the struggles of Palestinians living in makeshift tents, which often get flooded during the rainy season. The lack of basic necessities like warm clothing and proper sanitation has put vulnerable populations, especially children, at risk.
